How to practice
- Say the note name out loud as you tap it. Saying and seeing together sticks faster.
- Aim for accuracy first, then speed. Ten right in a row means you are ready to add ledger lines.
- Use the keyboard: keys C to B (or 1 to 7) answer without the mouse.
- Stuck on a note? Find the nearest landmark you know (middle C, treble G, bass F) and count lines and spaces from there.
